Giveaway

I've just come back from sunny Madrid, where The Bone Season has just hit shelves in Spanish under the title La Era de Huesos. (It's the only translation I'll actually be able to read.) To celebrate the Spanish launch, I'm giving away two signed copies! I've also found two more Italian hardbacks, so they're up for grabs as well. Enter below for a chance to win. As always, if you win a copy in any language, you agree to have it personalised with a name.

This is an international giveaway. I handle all postage myself, but I can't take responsibility if any prizes are lost in the post.

  2. Samantha!
I've finished your book and I'm lost for words, I think it is fantastic. I'd like to have a signed book, but I see it difficult. The Bone Season is amazing, awesome, incredible, terrific... one of the best novels I've ever read. I think I've never been as obsessed as I've been with your book in my life. I don't know if you're following me, you know, is quite complicated to talk about 'La era de huesos' with words; your magic, book's magic, is lovely. I don't know if you are going to Barcelona one day, but if you went, I'd like to know it. Maybe you can sign the book there or something like that. I love Paige and Warden and their story - I hope they will be in the next book, 'The mime order'. I can not imagine I have to wait 140 days to read it (knowing it comes out in spanish later).

I was a little bit lost at the first chapter, because I hadn't read many things about clarivoyants, but while I kept on reading I realised the book was really good. Your imagination does not have limits, and I should admit you are my idol. Usually people's idols are footballers, singers, actors... I don't have any idol singer (I don't know if I'm explaining well, do you understand me?), my idol is a writer: you. Everybody in my class wants to read your book; many people has asked me for it. They want to read it.

I admire you, because your first book was a failure and you never give writing up. 'The bone season' is a wonderful novel.
    P.S: I love the cover!

    Kisses from Barcelona,
    Adrià.
